The club owns a mining claim off of North Shore Road, just outside of the Lake Mead National Park boundary. Several varieties of agate can be found there, including Christmas agate, lilac agate, and bacon agate. Access is from the turnoff at mile marker 16 on North Shore road, in the park. Go to the end of the parking area there; into the wash. At the other side of the wash is a BLM sign pointing to the old Anniversary Mine. Follow the road and you will come to the Ore Car sign. All are welcome to collect here; however, no commercial digging is allowed. The club also holds an occasion barbecue at this site.
